Curly is back with more outrageous shenanigans!
Following the story from vol 1, Curly and side-kick Kaz are on their way home to Kaz' family. In between satire and gore we get a personal glimpse of Curly's childhood and have moments of vulnerability and hurt while Kaz processes trauma.
The characters gain more depth and the story more body while the supporting cast bring a lively background noise of jokes.
The imagination isn't lacking when Wennerstrand brings old nostalgia into the drawings and tells a gripping story through very few words. With action, horror, and moments of heartache, it's a wonderful continuation and perhaps bordering more to a graphic novel than a comic.
Highly recommend lovers of old B-movies, classic horrors, and dark humor to check out this comic!
